Burwell Tate 
Burwell was born in September 1859 in Kanawha Co, VA. Burwell's father is George Washington Tate and his mother was Rosetta Lacy. His paternal grandparents were Joshua Tate and Susanna Hinecker; his maternal grandparents were Caleb Lacy and Lucy Lydia Horton. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Caleab Harkins, John William, George Riley, General Grant, Scott, Sherman, Harrison, Cynthia Jane, Rebecca and Irna. He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 69 in 1928.-
