Cynthia Jane Tate 
Cynthia Jane was born in October 1861 in Kanawha Co, VA. Cynthia Jane's father is George Washington Tate and her mother was Rosetta Lacy. Her paternal grandparents were Joshua Tate and Susanna Hinecker; her maternal grandparents were Caleb Lacy and Lucy Lydia Horton. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named Caleab Harkins, John William, George Riley, Burwell, General Grant, Scott, Sherman, Harrison, Rebecca and Irna. She is the fifth oldest of the eleven children.-
