George Riley Tate 
George Riley was born on January 12th, 1857 in Kanawha Co, WV. George Riley's father is George Washington Tate and his mother was Rosetta Lacy. His paternal grandparents were Joshua Tate and Susanna Hinecker; his maternal grandparents were Caleb Lacy and Lucy Lydia Horton. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Caleab Harkins, John William, Burwell, General Grant, Scott, Sherman, Harrison, Cynthia Jane, Rebecca and Irna. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 57 on January 29th, 1914 in Charlelston , Kanawha Co., WV.-
