Sarah was born on December 22nd, 1784 in Library, Allegheny, PA. Sarah's father was David PHILLIPS and her mother was Mary THOMAS. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph PHILLIPS and Mary PHILLIPS. She had nine brothers and three sisters, named Benjamin, John, Joseph, Joseph, Thomas, Josiah, David, David, Isaac, Mary, Rachel and Martha. She is the second youngest of the thirteen children.-
