Jane "Jean" Maupin 
Jane "Jean" was born about 1738 in Hanover, Virginia. Jane "Jean"'s father was DANIEL "Old Daniel" Maupin and her mother was MARGARET Via. Her paternal grandparents were GABRIEL Maupin and MARIE Hersent (Erssen); her maternal grandparents were AMER Via and MARGARET UNKNOWN. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named GABRIEL, John, Daniel "Cuff", William G., Zachariah "Becheries", Jesse G., Thomas, Mary and Margaret "Peggy". She was the second youngest of the ten children. She died after 1779 in Albemarle, Virginia.-
