Frances "Fanny" was born about 1753 in Albemarle, Virginia. Frances "Fanny"'s father was GABRIEL Maupin and her mother was ANNA B. Ballard. Her paternal grandparents were DANIEL "Old Daniel" Maupin and MARGARET Via; her maternal grandfather was THOMAS Ballard and her maternal grandmother is FRANCES Shiflett. She had eight brothers and four sisters, named David Hansford, Daniel, Joel, Gabriel, Thomas, Bland, John, Matthew, Susannah, Judith, Anna and Margaret "Peggy". She was the fifth oldest of the thirteen children. She died before 1850 in Albemarle, Virginia.-
