Richard Lawrence Howell 
Richard Lawrence was born on March 30th, 1830 in McNairy, Tennessee. Richard Lawrence's father was Walter Howell and his mother was Nancy Ann Lawrence. His paternal grandparents were Edward HOWELL and Francis Fanny Stroud; his maternal grandparents were Richard Lawrence and Jane Hammond. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Theadore Freelend, Walter Jr., Sarah Jane and Eglantine. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 85 on December 29th, 1915 in Van, Van Zandt, Texas. He was buried in December 1915 in Union Chapel Cemetery, Smith, Texas.-
