Nancy Ann was born on November 25th, 1803 in , Randolph Co., Nc.1 Nancy Ann's father was Richard Lawrence and her mother was Jane Hammond. Her paternal grandparents were John Bayley Lawrence and Nancy Ann Needham; her maternal grandparents were Moses Hammond and Abigail UNKNOWN. She had three brothers and two sisters, named John, Jonathan, David B., Sarah and Unknown. She was the third oldest of the six children. She died about 1836 in McNairy, Tennessee.1 General Notes
