William STROUD 
William was born in 1732 in Sturgeon Run, Brunswick Co., Va. William's father was William Stroud and his mother is Margaret Rose. His paternal grandparents were John STROUD and Hannah UNKNOWN; his maternal grandfather is John Rose. He had four brothers named John, Peter, Thomas and Yearby. He was the second youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 54 on August 4th, 1786 in Granville, Warren, Nc. He was buried in 1786.General Notes
