William Doak STROUD 
William Doak was born on May 17th, 1771 in Orange, Nc. William Doak's father was William STROUD and his mother was Elizabeth E. Esteridge. His paternal grandfather was William Stroud and his paternal grandmother is Margaret Rose; his maternal grandparents are Ephraim ESTERIDGE and Sarah Fussell. He had five brothers and five sisters, named John, Anderson, Marshall, Thomas S., Dixon A, Margaret, Mary, Francis Fanny, Sarah "Sally" and Elizabeth. He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 70 in 1841 in , Warren Co., Tn.General Notes
