John Hoover 
John was born in 1760 in Mirey Springs, Uniontown, MD. John's father was Andreas Huber and his mother was Anna Margaretta Pfautz. His paternal grandparents were Gregor Jonas Huber and Anna Maria Kreutzer; his maternal grandparents were Jacob Pfautz and Anna Magdalena Kuntz. He had seven brothers and six sisters, named Jonas, Andrew, Jacob, Daniel, David E, Peter, Henry, Elizabeth, Mary, Catherine, Elizabeth, Rachel and Susannah. He was the fifth youngest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 71 on November 18th, 1831 in West Milton, Miami, OH.General Notes
