Andrew was born on September 21st, 1752 in Pipe Creek, Frederick Co., MD. Andrew's father was Andreas Huber and his mother was Anna Margaretta Pfautz. His paternal grandparents were Gregor Jonas Huber and Anna Maria Kreutzer; his maternal grandparents were Jacob Pfautz and Anna Magdalena Kuntz. He had seven brothers and six sisters, named Jonas, Jacob, Daniel, John, David E, Peter, Henry, Elizabeth, Mary, Catherine, Elizabeth, Rachel and Susannah. He was the sixth oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 82 on December 29th, 1834 in Richmond, Wayne Co., IN.-
