Rachel was born in 1758 in Mirey Springs, Carroll Co., MD. Rachel's father was Andreas Huber and her mother was Anna Margaretta Pfautz. Her paternal grandparents were Gregor Jonas Huber and Anna Maria Kreutzer; her maternal grandparents were Jacob Pfautz and Anna Magdalena Kuntz. She had eight brothers and five sisters, named Jonas, Andrew, Jacob, Daniel, John, David E, Peter, Henry, Elizabeth, Mary, Catherine, Elizabeth and Susannah. She was the sixth youngest of the fourteen children. She died in Montgomery Co., OH.-
