Jonas Hoover\HUBER 
Jonas was born in 1746 in Mirey Springs, Carroll Co., MD. Jonas' father was Andreas Huber and his mother was Anna Margaretta Pfautz. His paternal grandparents were Gregor Jonas Huber and Anna Maria Kreutzer; his maternal grandparents were Jacob Pfautz and Anna Magdalena Kuntz. He had seven brothers and six sisters, named Andrew, Jacob, Daniel, John, David E, Peter, Henry, Elizabeth, Mary, Catherine, Elizabeth, Rachel and Susannah. He was the second oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 82 on June 15th, 1828 in Randolph Co., NC.-
