Jesse was born on June 20th, 1799 in Unharrie River, Randolph Co., NC. Jesse's father was John Hoover and his mother was Sarah BURKET. His paternal grandparents were Andreas Huber and Anna Margaretta Pfautz. He was an only child. He died at the age of 57 on November 15th, 1856 in West Branch, Cedar, IA.-
