Egell Elvin Herring

Egell Elvin was born in June 1868 in , Washington, IL.  Egell Elvin's father is Daniel Washington Herring and his mother was Helen Ellender Sevier.  His paternal grandparents are Peyton Herring and Mary 'Polly' Evans; his maternal grandparents were John Sevier and Anna Friend. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Jesse L, George Washington, John Wesley, Alexander, William Jasper, Martha Ann, Frances Marion, Elisabeth Jane, Mary Etta and Amelia Nora.  He is the youngest of the eleven children.
