Amelia Nora Herring

Amelia Nora was born on August 10th, 1859 in , Washington, IL.  Amelia Nora's father is Daniel Washington Herring and her mother was Helen Ellender Sevier.  Her paternal grandparents are Peyton Herring and Mary 'Polly' Evans; her maternal grandparents were John Sevier and Anna Friend. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Jesse L, George Washington, John Wesley, Alexander, William Jasper, Egell Elvin, Martha Ann, Frances Marion, Elisabeth Jane and Mary Etta.  She is the second youngest of the eleven children.
