Nelly GAITHER

Nelly was born about 1780 in Of Elisha'screek, Mockville, Davie, Nc. Nelly's father was Basil GAITHER and her mother was Margaret WATKINS. Her paternal grandfather was Edward GAITHER and her paternal grandmother is Eleanor DAVIS; her maternal grandparents were Nicholas WATKINS and Ariana WORTHINGTON. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Nicholas Watkins, Basil, Walter, Cassaway, Gassaway, Walter, Nathan, Ellen Martha (Nellie), Betsey, Nathan and Martha. She is the sixth youngest of the twelve children.
