Martha GAITHER

Martha was born about 1786 in Of Elisha'screek, Mockville, Davie, Nc. Martha's father was Basil GAITHER and her mother was Margaret WATKINS. Her paternal grandfather was Edward GAITHER and her paternal grandmother is Eleanor DAVIS; her maternal grandparents were Nicholas WATKINS and Ariana WORTHINGTON. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Nicholas Watkins, Basil, Walter, Cassaway, Gassaway, Walter, Nathan, Ellen Martha (Nellie), Nelly, Betsey and Nathan. She is the second youngest of the twelve children.
