Ruth was born about 1650 in Of, Lower Norfolk, Va. Ruth's father was Richard BEARD and her mother was Ratchell (Rachel) ROBINS. Her maternal grandparents were Colonel Edward ROBINS and Jane Mrs ROBINS. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Richard, John, Richard, John, Ruth, Rachel, Rebecca and Rebecca.
