Moses BOWEN 
Moses was born in 1739 in , Augusta, Virginia. Moses' father was John BOWEN and his mother was Lilly MCILHANEY. His paternal grandparents were Moses BOWEN and Rebecca REECE; his maternal grandfather was Henry MC ILHANEY and his maternal grandmother is Mrs. Jane HUNTER. He had seven brothers and six sisters, named John, Henry, Robert, Reece (Rees), William, Arthur M, Charles, Nancy Anne, Agnes, Jane Jean, Rebecca, Jean and Mary. He was the sixth oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 22 in 1761 in , Augusta, Virginia.General Notes
