Arthur M BOWEN 
Arthur M was born on January 17th, 1744 in Augusta, Va. Arthur M's father was John BOWEN and his mother was Lilly MCILHANEY. His paternal grandparents were Moses BOWEN and Rebecca REECE; his maternal grandfather was Henry MC ILHANEY and his maternal grandmother is Mrs. Jane HUNTER. He had seven brothers and six sisters, named John, Henry, Moses, Robert, Reece (Rees), William, Charles, Nancy Anne, Agnes, Jane Jean, Rebecca, Jean and Mary. He was the fourth youngest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 72 on January 17th, 1816 in , Washington Count, Virginia. He was buried in 1816 in , , Va.General Notes
