Daniel BACON 
Daniel was born on October 27th, 1831 in Jonesborough, TN.1 Daniel's father was Thomas BACON and his mother was Sarah A. (Sally) BARRON. His maternal grandparents were George Thomas BARRON and Phebe JOBE. He had eight brothers and five sisters, named Jesse, Charles, Isaac, John N., James, Thomas H., Jonathan W. (Daunt?), Jacob W. (Jake), Pheobie Ann, Mary (Pop), Sarah Ann, Elizabeth and Amanda Jane. He was the sixth oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 26 on December 5th, 1857 in Jonesborough, TN. He was buried about 1870 in Jarnagin Cemetary, Morristown, Hamblen County, TN.1 2 General Notes

Daniel Bacon purchased almost 200 acres of land from Thomas
Barron, Jr. on 19 May 1856 (Washington County Deed Book 36, p
165). He sold portions of that land on 5 Aug of that same year
to Lemuel Keebler (Washington County, TN Deed Book 36, p 207),
and Elihu Keebler (Washington County, TN Deed Book 36, p 331).
The Keeblers were his in-laws.
According to Janelle Morrow Walker, in the early 70s, her father
Herbert C. Walker watched workers dig up the Bacon graves and
move Daniel Bacon and Cynthia Fitzgerald Bacon bodies to
Morristown. She said her father remarked "what little skulls
the Bacon's had".
