Obituary published in Jonesborough newspaper Thursday Sept 9,
1871
From Steve Bacon Report:
The 1840 US Census enumerates Thomas with the code
2212001-111001, which indicates he was 40-50 years old, and his
wife was 30-40 years old. The children's sex and ages are
consistent with the 1850 Census.
Immediate descendants of Thomas and Sarah Bacon were identified
from US Census of 1850. The link to Daniel is based on the
rarity of his name in Bacon records (there is only one in the
1850 Census) and the fact that his age in the 1850 census lines
up with the marriage date for Daniel recorded in the IGI.
The History of Washington County says Thomas and Sarah had 15
children.
An obituary from the Jonesborough Herald-Tribune reads as
follows:
'Bacon, Mr. Thomas
Mr. Thomas Bacon, an old and respectable citizen of this county

Thomas Bacon's will reads as follows:

lieu of her Hoss & cow. Test: Nicholas Keefauver, Isaac
