Joseph AVERY 
Joseph was born in 1692 in New London, Conn. and his baptism took place on June 19th, 1692 in New London, New L., Ct. Joseph's father was John Or Jon AVERY and his mother was Abigail CHESEBROUGH. His paternal grandparents were James AVERY and Joanna GREENSLADE; his maternal grandparents were Samuel CHEESEBOROUGH and Abigail CHESEBROUGH. He had eight brothers and five sisters, named John, Benjamin, Nathaniel, William, Josiah, Elisha, Daniel, Thomas, Abigail, Mary, Elizabeth, Anna and Desire. He was the sixth oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 22 on May 1st, 1714.General Notes
