Hiske Spieker 
Hiske was born in January 1870 in Iowa, USA.1 Hiske's father was Jurgen Dick Spieker and her mother was Anna Fluth. Her maternal grandparents were Freede Fluth and Hiske. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Dirk, Jerry, Tilly, Jacobina, Rheina, Freede, Clara and Mattie. She was the oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 80 in 1950 in Iowa, USA.1 General Notes
