Juren was born in 1903 in IA.1 Juren's father was Folkert De Vries and his mother was Hiske Spieker. His maternal grandparents were Jurgen Dick Spieker and Anna Fluth. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Fokke, Carl, Herman, Aje, Anna and Lenora. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.General Notes
