Henry Shoaf 
Henry was born on August 25th, 1808 in ,Hardy, Virginia.1 Henry's father was John Shoaf and his mother was Rachel Elizabeth Plum. His paternal grandfather was John Shofe; his maternal grandparents were John Plum and Rachel Temple. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Abraham, Jacob, John, Joseph, Katherine, Rachael, Nancy, Catherine, Elizabeth and Mary (Polly). He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 54 on September 13th, 1862 in ,Franklin, Ohio. He was buried on September 13th, 1862 in Stimmel Fam.cem., Hamilton Twp., Franklin, Ohio.1 1 General Notes
