Charles Of Burgundy was born about 0830 in Burgundy.1 Charles Of Burgundy's father was Lothar I Emperor Holy Roman Empire and his mother was Irmengarde Countess of Tours. His paternal grandparents were Louis I The and Irmengard of Hesbain; his maternal grandparents were Hugues Count of Alsace and Ava Countess of Alsace. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Louis II King of, Lothaire II King Of, Rothilde of, Abbess of Avenay, Ermengarde Duchess of and Rotrude. He was the third youngest of the seven children.
