Gundred de was born about 1055 in , , Normandie, France.1   Gundred de's father was Guillaume de Normandie and her mother was Maud de Flandres.  Her paternal grandparents were Robert "The Magnificent" de Normandie and Herleve de Mortaigne; her maternal grandparents were Baudouin and Alix Capet. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Robert III, Richard de, William II, Henry I, UNKNOWN, Margaret de, Agatha Matilda de, Constance de, Alice De and Anna de.  She was the fourth oldest of the eleven children.  She died on May 27th, 1085 in Acre Castle, Acre, Norfolk, England.  She was buried in Priory, Lewes, Sussex, England.1 1
