Gerberga Of was born about 0975 in Lower Lorraine, France.1   Gerberga Of's father was Charles King France and her mother was Bonne De Arderne.  Her paternal grandparents were Louis IV of France and Gerberge Queen of France***; her maternal grandparents were Godfrey De Verdun and Mathilde Countess Of Flanders. She had a sister named Ermengarde Adelaide.  She was the younger of the two children. She had a half-brother named Prince Of Lorraine.  She died in France.  She was buried in the cloister of St. Gertrud, at Nivelles.1 1 


Gerberga Of's family with Lambert I Brabant

‌Gerberga Of and Lambert I were married in a religious ceremony in England.1   They had three sons and three daughters, named 2nd Count Of Louvaine, Count Of Louvain, Eustache, Mathilda Maud Of, Mahaut Maud Of and Landrode.
