Luella Marianne was born on June 28th, 1910 in Garrison, Benton Co., Iowa.1 Luella Marianne's father was William Frederick Klein and her mother was Anna Sophia Reiss. Her maternal grandparents were George Reiss and Wilhelmina Anthes. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Walter Ezra, Frederick, Sherman George, Marion Louis, Oliver (Punk) Wendell, Elizabeth Marie and Alice Elfreda. She was the youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 83 on September 24th, 1993 in Salem, Marion County, Oregon.
