John Fisher 
John was born in 1597 in Syleham, Suffolk, England.1 John's father was Anthony Fisher and his mother was Mary Fiske. His paternal grandparents were William Fisher and Margerie Bert; his maternal grandparents were Ncholas Fiske and Johan Crispe. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Anthony, Amos, Cornelius, Anthony, Daniel, Joshua, Martha and Mary. He died at the age of 39 in 1636 in Syleham, Suffolk, England.1 General Notes

English Ancestry of Joshua and Anthony Fisher:
John Fisher, pb. at Syleham 15 Sept. 1597; bur. there 4 Sept. 1636 at Syleham; clothier. In his will, dated 28 March 1636 and proved 30 Oct. 1636, he mentioned no wife or children, but gave legacies to "Joshua Fisher of Harleston my brother," Martha Fisher my sister of Silham," Mary Brigges of Dinninton my sister the wife of Roger Brigges," "John Fisher the sonne of Joshua Fisher of Harleston my brother," and "Cornelius Fisher sonne of Anthony Fisher of Denton my brother." He named also his brothers Amos and Cornelius and gave an annuity of L5 2s to his father and mother.
