John DeMoss

John was born on August 9th, 1718 in Baltimore Co,Maryland   (now Harford Co).  John's father was *Louis DeMoss and his mother was *Catherine.  His paternal grandfather was *Count Louis Dumas (according to tradition). He had six brothers and two sisters, named Lewis, William, Peter (Pierre), Thomas, James, *Charles (Sr.), Catherine and Pine orJane.  He was the fourth oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 87 on March 23rd, 1806 in Hartford Co,MD.

‌John and Susannah were married in a religious ceremony on February 2nd, 1743 in Baltimore Co,MD.
