*Charles (Sr.) DeMoss 
*Charles (Sr.) was born on November 2nd, 1731 in Baltimore Co,MD (now Harford Co). *Charles (Sr.)'s father was *Louis DeMoss and his mother was *Catherine. His paternal grandfather was *Count Louis Dumas (according to tradition). He had six brothers and two sisters, named Lewis, William, John, Peter (Pierre), Thomas, James, Catherine and Pine orJane. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died before September 19th, 1786 in Berkeley Co,VA.
*Charles (Sr.) and *Fannie were married in a religious ceremony before 1765. They had three sons and a daughter, named *Andrew, John, Peter and Susanna.
