Catherine DeMoss

Catherine was born about 1714.  Catherine's father was *Louis DeMoss and her mother was *Catherine.  Her paternal grandfather was *Count Louis Dumas (according to tradition). She had seven brothers and a sister, named Lewis, William, John, Peter (Pierre), Thomas, James, *Charles (Sr.) and Pine orJane.  She was the oldest of the nine children.  She died about 1784 in Washington Co,MD.

‌Catherine and James Sr. were married in a religious ceremony in 1735 in Baltimore Co,MD.  They had four sons named William, James Jr., Thomas and Lewis.
