John Henry Vaden 
John Henry was born about 1842. John Henry's father was Vincent Vaden and his mother was Sarah E. Martin. His paternal grandparents were Peter Vaden and Unknown Hatcher; his maternal grandparents were John R. Martin and Catherine Williams. He had six brothers and a sister, named Peter Francis, James M., William Edward, Richard Johnson, Robert Giles, Joseph Leonard and Martha Ann. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died on January 17th, 1863 in Montgomery White Sulphur Springs Civil War Hospital.-
