James M. Vaden 
James M. was born on August 19th, 1848 in Montgomery Co. VA. James M.'s father was Vincent Vaden and his mother was Sarah E. Martin. His paternal grandparents were Peter Vaden and Unknown Hatcher; his maternal grandparents were John R. Martin and Catherine Williams. He had six brothers and a sister, named John Henry, Peter Francis, William Edward, Richard Johnson, Robert Giles, Joseph Leonard and Martha Ann. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 76 on October 15th, 1924.-
