Elizabeth "Betsy" Matthews 
Elizabeth "Betsy" was born on May 26th, 1820 in Pitt Co. Elizabeth "Betsy"'s father was William Matthews and her mother was Mary Taylor. She had two sisters named Nancy and Charlotte. She was the second oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 83 on August 5th, 1903.
Elizabeth "Betsy" and William "Billy" were married in a religious ceremony on March 22nd, 1844. They had three sons and four daughters, named William M, John Lawrence Graham, Talbert M., Mary Ann, Magzilla "Ziley", Nancy Anne Elizabeth and Caroline.

Magzilla "Ziley" was born in 1849 in NC. She died at the age of 80 in 1929.
Talbert M. Manning
Talbert M. was born on October 12th, 1850. He died at the age of 48 on January 29th, 1899.
