HENRY I was born on February 21st, 1068 in Selby, Yorkshire, Eng and his baptism took place on August 5th, 1100 in Selby, Eng.  HENRY I's father was WILLIAM THE CONQUEROR KING OF ENGLAND and his mother was Matilda (Maud) Of Flanders.  His paternal grandparents were Robert I "The Magnificent" Of Normandy and Heleve (Arlette) de Falaise; his maternal grandfather was UNKNOWN Baldwin V. He had two brothers named ROBERT II "CURTHOSE" and HENRY I.  He was the second oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 67 on December 1st, 1135 in St.Denis, France.  He was buried on January 4th, 1136 in Reading Abbey, Berkshire, Eng.

‌HENRY I and Matilda were married in a religious ceremony on November 11th, 1100 in Westminster, Eng.  They had a daughter named Matilda (Maud the Empress).
