Matilda was born on June 1st, 1079 in Dumfermline, Scotland.  Matilda's father was Malcolm III (Caenmor Longneck) of Scotland and her mother was Margaret "The Saint" of England.  Her paternal grandfather was Duncan I (Maldred) of Scotland; her maternal grandparents were Edward Aetheling(Outlaw Exile) of England and Agatha (Margaret) von Brunswick.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 38 on May 1st, 1118 in Westminster, Eng.  She was buried in June 1118 in Church St Peter, Westminster, Eng.


Matilda's family with HENRY I KING OF ENGLAND

‌Matilda and HENRY I were married in a religious ceremony on November 11th, 1100 in Westminster, Eng.  They had a daughter named Matilda (Maud the Empress).
