William Hudson 
William was born in 1792 in Elbert County, GA. William's father was David Bird Hudson and his mother was Mary Cobbs Booker. His paternal grandparents were Charles Hudson and Susannah "Susan" Patrick; his maternal grandparents were William Booker and Edith Unknown. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Booker, Charles, George, David B. Hudson, Madison, Mary Margaret "Polly", Martha P. and Louisa Edith. He was the second oldest of the nine children.-
