Her paternal grandparents were John Hargrove and Judith Burwell; her maternal grandparents were John Gray Proctor and Mary Bennet. She had two brothers and seven sisters, named Ethelred "Dred", John, Penelope, Anna "Nancy", Sarah Elizabeth "Sally", Charity, Nancy, Inda Judith "Judah" and Delilah. She died in 1860 in Benton Co., TN. She was buried in Melton Family Cem., Harmon's Creek, Benton Co., TN.-
