Augustine Hunnicutt was born in 1705 in Lawne's Creek, Surry Co., VA. Augustine Hunnicutt's father was Bray Hargrove and his mother was Mary Hodge(s) Hunnicutt. His paternal grandparents were Richard Hargrave and Pembroke Pead; his maternal grandparents were James (John) Hodge and Margaret Phillips. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Benjamin, Samuel, Lemuel, John, Elizabeth, Margaret and Mary. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 58 in 1763 in Princess Anne Co, Va.-
