Mamie Naomi Fowler 
Mamie Naomi was born on September 9th, 1882 in Alamance Co., Glove Orch, NC. Mamie Naomi's father was James Monroe Fowler and her mother was Lelia Ann Sutton. Her paternal grandparents were John G. Fowler and Mary Allen; her maternal grandparents were Charles Sutton and Nancy Murray. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Lawrence R., Edson DeMark, Clyde Monroe, George Herbert, Ernest Chloe, Frederick Desmond "Dutch", Bertha May and Daisy Daphne. She was the oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 97 on December 27th, 1979.-
