Hugues de Montgomery 
Hugues de was born about 1054 in of,Montgomery,Montgomery,Wales.1 Hugues de's father was Roger V de Montgomery Earl of Arundel and his mother was Mabel d' Talvas [Countess of Shr. His paternal grandparents were Roger de Montgomery [Seigneur of Mon and Josceline de Pont-audemer; his maternal grandparents were William D'Alencon of Talvas and Hildeburge de Beaumont. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Robert II de, Roger "The Poitevin", Phillip, Arnulph de, Robert, Ameria (Emma) de, Maude De, Mabel and Sybil. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He had a half-sister named Ponce. He died in July 1103.1 General Notes
Was a Knight and companion for William the Conqueror in 1066 (Battle of Hastings was on 14 Oct 1066). His name found on the plaque in the Church at Dives-sur-Mer, Normandie, France, where William the Conqueror and his knights said mass before setting sail to invade England in 1066. This plaque lists all knights that took mart in the invasion.
