Gerberga of was born about 0935 in of,,Lorraine,France.  Gerberga of's father was Gilbert Duke of Lorraine and her mother was Gerberga of Saxony Abbess of Notre Dame.  Her paternal grandparents were Rainer (Reignier) DukeI of Lorraine and Hersent Ermentrude of FRANCE; her maternal grandparents were Henry I "The Fowler" King of Germany and Countess Matilda Ringelheim Queen of the Germans. She had a brother and two sisters, named Henri, Duke of, Alberade de and Wiltrude, Duchess of.  She was the second youngest of the four children. She had eight half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Lothair Carolingien, King of, Carloman Prince of, Louis Prince of, Henri Prince of, Charles I le Gros, Duke of, Conan I Duke Of, Martin, Seigneur of Vitre, Meen Seigneur of Fougeres, Mathilde Princess Of, Hildegard Princess of, Alberade Princess Of and Hildegardin, Princess of France, Countess of.  She died about 0995.

‌Gerberga of and Albert I "The Pious" of were married in a religious ceremony before 0955 in France.  They had four sons and a daughter, named Otton (Eudo) De, Guy Gui De, Lindulf De, Herbert III Count of and Gisla De.
