Sophia Agnes de was born about 1102 in <,Montbéliard,Doubs,France>.1 Sophia Agnes de's father was Thierry III de Montbelliard and her mother was Gertrude de Habsburg. Her paternal grandparents were Thierry II De Montbelliard Comte de Bar-le-Duc and Ermentrude of Burgundy; her maternal grandparents were Werner I HABSBURG and Regulinde Von NELLENBURG. She had two sisters named Ermentrude de and Stephanie de. She was the oldest of the three children. She had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named Count Ludwig of, Count Dietrich V of, Princess Agnes of, Princess Irmtrud of and Princess Stephania of.
