Ermisende De was born in 1084 in Trier,Deutschland.1 Ermisende De's father was Conrad I Comte De Luxembourg and her mother was Clemence De Poitou. Her paternal grandparents were Giselbert I, Compte De Luxembourg and Ermentrude; her maternal grandparents were Guillaume (Pierre) VII Duc de Aquitaine and Ermensinde De Longwy. She had two brothers and a sister, named Guillaume de Luxemburg, Henri III de Luxemburg and Mathilda of. She had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Gerard II, Yolande de, Jutta Von and Judith. She died at the age of 59 on June 24th, 1143.1 General Notes
