Hedwig von was born about 0937 in ,,,Luxembourg.  Hedwig von's father was Eberhard IV of Nordgau C in the Nordgau and her mother was Luitgarde of Treves Cntss Luxembourg.  Her paternal grandparents were Hugo III of Nordgau C/Lower-Alsace and Hildegard de Ferette; her maternal grandparents were Wigerich von Aachen and Kunigonde de France. She had five brothers and a sister, named Adalbert of, Gerhard Von Egisheim de, Hugo V Count of, Adalbert II De, Hugues III and Wigburg Von. She had a half-brother named Matfried.
